Crystal Cruises launch new food and wine themed voyages

Crystal Cruises is to launch a range of food and wine themed voyages headlined by culinary experts from around the world.

Experts from Australia, New Zealand and Bali will be on hand to teach complimentary cooking classes, wine tasting courses, cocktail mixing classes and to create special dinner menus.

Famous experts on board include, Damien Pignolet, Sydney’s renowned Australian/French fusion chef; Heinz von Holzen, Balinese cookbook author and owner of award winning restaurant and cooking school, Bumbu Bali; Greg Doyle, former Australian Restaurateur of the Year and owner of Australia’s finest seafood restaurant; and Carmeron Douglas, New Zealand’s first and only Master Sommelier.

The voyages offer guests access to each country's culinary capitals, and visits to the celebrated wine regions of South Australia and Wellington, New South Wales' fine dining and Northern Territory's outback pubs.  Other voyages launching in January and February of next year will visit the natural wonders of New Zealand and the Indonesian island of Bali.

On board the ships, guests will also be able to experience extensive and innovative menu choices, the luxury line's coveted cheese and wine cellars, fresh cocktails served by certified mixologists, gourmet dining options at every meal, afternoon teas, fine wines, champagnes, and premium spirits, which are all complimentary and included with every cruise.
