Meet the Canary Wharf super yachts

The super yachts are here of course for the Olympics, which begin this Friday, July 27, and have now docked in the area dubbed ‘Cannes Wharf’ for the duration of the games. Seanna
The 213ft Seanna is sleek and stylish accommodating just 12 guests in its spacious suites. The Seanna could be yours for the week if you can spare an extra £360,209 - £338,370. The yacht comes with a 17 man crew and is at the height of entertainment sophistication, with a state of the art audio visual system, a satellite TV, X-box, Wii and disco. It also contains a Jacuzzi massage room, banana boat, two jet skis, an aqua park trampoline, wake boards, snorkelling gear, fishing gear, two canoes, and a fully equipped gym. With so much to keep you entertained you’ll never even need to go ashore.
Octopus
This monster yacht is in fact the 12th largest yacht in the world and the largest expedition yacht at 413ft long. It is owned by IT tycoon, Paul Allen who is the co-founder of Microsoft. This über-luxurious yacht has two helipads, an onboard swimming pool, night club, and a 10 man submarine. It even comes with its own recording studio, on deck cinema and basket ball court. It has 41 suites and a crew of 61 people, and costs and whopping £13 million a year just to run.
Iliona
Next door to the Octopus sits the magnificent Iliona, owned by Westfield shopping centre mogul, Frank Lowry. It is rumoured to be worth a staggering £80 million. At 242ft, the Iliona can accommodate 16 guests and 28 crew members. It contains a cinema, massage room and fully equipped gym, among other luxuries. The Iliona being hired out to wealthy visitors for the Olympics for £294,000 per week. The boat even has a retractable system on the back deck, which has been installed to allow a helicopter to land and be stowed in a fire-proof hangar below. The Iliona has been awarded the title of ‘Most Innovative Motor Yacht’ for its design and functionality.
Harle
The smallest of the Canary Wharf mega yachts at 147ft, Harle is by no means lacking in space or style. Decked in sleek in shades of biscuit and beige, complete with an onboard cocktail bar and comfy leather sofas, Harle sleeps 10-12 guests and has a crew of nine. LCD high definition flat screens can be found throughout, as well sophisticated AV and IT systems, with a library of music, movies and digital art. IPod docking stations, game consoles and sound system will also keep you entertained. And if you want fun on the water, Harle also has two sail boats, two sea kayaks, wake boards, water skis, snorkel and scuba gear, surfboards, two jet skis and inflatable speed boats. A sun deck with hot tub, music speakers, al fresco dining and an on deck cinema screen complete the picture. There is even a private fully equipped office for business meetings out at sea. For this one you’ll only have to fork out £143,000 per week - bargain, but you’ll also be getting your own private chef who will cook you 5-star gourmet food.
