Hotel builds chocolate room for Easter
To celebrate Easter, the Cavendish Hotel in London have teamed up with mater chocolatiers to create a room made out of chocolate. One lucky couple will win the chance to sleep in the room tonight, and eat their way out of it tomorrow morning.
The luxuriously sweet treat has been designed by professional chef students from Westminster Kingsway College, and created with almost 100kg of top of the range Callebaut chocolate. Most things in the room are edible - including lamps, slippers, flowers, the door sign and headboard of the bed. The centerpiece of the room is a giant egg and bunny rabbit - so large that it takes two men to carry it.
Winners will also be able to indulge their sweet tooth at the hotel bar - which will be serving up complimentary chocolate cocktails in organge, white, and chili flavours.
Neil Braude, hotel manager at the Cavendish London, said: “What could be more fun than waking up feeling a bit peckish and being able to munch your way through the do not disturb sign? Or taking a nibble out of the flowers?”
To enter, participants need to tweet a chocolate pun to TimeOutLondon.
