Celebs Choose Trains For Luxury Travel
It seems like private jets are no longer the most luxurious way to get from A-Z, as celebrities are increasingly turning to private train charters to meet their demanding travel needs.
First Brad Pit and Angelina Jolie booked out an entire train to take them, their children and their entourage from London up to Glasgow.
Now Christina Aguilera is the latest star to travel on the tracks after she booked out a private first class carriage to take her from London’s Paddington Station to Cardiff, where she will be performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert.
The singer had private use of the Queen Victoria Lounge at Paddington, which was dressed with candles before boarding the train for the two-hour journey.
A special selection of refreshments was provided on board the train, arranged by Train Chartering, at the singer’s request.
It’s not the first VIP journey that the company have organised though, after arranging the exlusive use of a private 6-carriage Orient Express between Geneva and Hamburg, for two A-list stars.
Director of Train Chartering, Simon Pielow, said: “Our guests enjoy comfort, privacy, leg room and almost any luxury, which is available on request.
