New cruise programme from Princess launched

Monday, 21 March 2011 3:33 PM

Those looking for a holiday at sea for the next cruise season can find inspiration in Princess Cruises’ new 2012/13 cruise and cruisetour programme.

With a range of new sailings added to the new programme, the company will be serving destinations such as Alaska, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the South Pacific and Asia.

The new brochure also includes the cruise line’s largest European deployment with sailings to places like Scandinavia, Russia and the Mediterranean. In addition to new destinations, the new season will also offer more Alaska and US West Coast sailings options.

This is the first time that the company has launched all of its itineraries at the same time.

Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises’ executive vice president said, ‘We know that many of our passengers are advance planners, and would like to see the full breadth of our cruise itineraries to decide where to vacation next with us. So for the first time we've released all of our itineraries at once so they have the entire world at their fingertips as they're planning their next cruise.’

Recent data show that an increasing number of UK holidaymakers are opting for a holiday at sea, with cruise passenger figures expected to increase over the coming years.
