Jersey really is the ultimate destination in which to book a spa break. Not only is there a number of Jersey spas across the island to visit but you will also find them in several of the luxury hotels. Read on for our tips on some of the best you can visit.

If you are keen to plan a break where you return home feeling pampered, refreshed and as though you have been more than a little spoilt, Jersey short breaks are perfect - particularly if you book a stay at one of its finest hotels.

The Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa is the epitome of luxury. Here you can enjoy a stay in 5-star accommodation, dining out in the evenings at a restaurant that boasts a Michelin star. To ensure you are feeling your best for your fancy meal, stop by the on-site spa where you are set for an indulgent experience.

In both 2009 and 2010, the facility was recognised as the UK Residential Spa of the Year and you can take a dip in the Jacuzzi, relax in the sauna or indulge in one of the treatments while here.

This is not the only hotel that features a spa though; The Royal Yacht in St Helier also has one. Spa Sirene employs expert therapists, who can deliver just the tonic you need to restore the balance of your mind and body - perfect if you have been under stress.

You can also visit the Swedish sauna, aromatherapy steam room and the heated vitality pool, all of which may help you feel the best you've ever felt.

If you are planning to base yourself in St Brelade, you could book a room at L'Horizon Hotel and Spa. This accommodation is situated in an absolutely stunning location with views across the bay, while also being close to one of the island's most popular beaches.

The spa complex is well equipped and you should find everything you need for a true pampering when you visit here. Splashing about in the saltwater pool could be the perfect way to cool down after a session in the gym or the sauna.

Of course, not all the spas in Jersey are located within a hotel. In the beautiful countryside surrounding St Ouen you will find Les Roches Spa. This is the premier day spa on the island and a visit here is an absolute must if you have been on an activity break that has seen you walking and cycling each day.

You could treat yourself to an individual treatment, such as a manicure, pedicure or facial, or you may wish to book a massage or holistic therapy to help you really unwind.

Other options include a warm massage with Lava Shells or a stint in the Alpha OxySpa Relaxation Pod, which uses a combination of pure oxygen, heat, vibrations and essential oils to help you unwind and to soothe away any aches and pains you have been experiencing.

Yet there are still more spas you can visit on your stay, including The Club Hotel and Spa, Beautique Salon at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel and Hotel de France, all in the capital of St Helier.

If you've been working hard, give yourself the treat you deserve and book your luxury getaway to Jersey today. You're certain to return home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
