New Limobikes enable passengers to travel around London in style

Monday, 16 April 2012 9:01 AM

This summer you can beat the London traffic by travelling around the capital in style, on a new chic Limobike.

The new branded Necker Island and Roof Gardens Limobikes, which were unveiled by Virgin Limited Edition on Friday, allow guests to travel around London efficiently and safely without the stress.

The new bikes have been fitted with a rear seat back to give passengers total confidence while riding, as well as an intercom and phone, so that passengers can even make and receive phone calls whilst on the move.

Virgin Limobikes currently carry around 10,000 passengers each year, with a typical journey time of around 35 minutes from the Olympic Park in East London to The Roof Gardens in Kensington, West London.

Virgin Limobikes are driven by professional motor cyclists Damian Rowley and Russ Marks who were trained at the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and have both been driving bikes for over 17 years.
