London hotels best for business

London's business hotels have been named the best in the UK by prestigious travel magazine.

At the award ceremony on 1 September, the English capital was recognised by Condé Nast Traveller readers as the top destination for business travel.

In the best UK Business Hotel category every position in the top ten list was filled by a London hotel.

The Dorchester took top spot at the awards while Claridge came in as runner up.

The awards proved that London has a lot great accommodation options for holidaymakers looking for an exclusive break in the capital.

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park scooped the award in the best Leisure UK Hotel category.

Sally Chatterjee, CEO of Visit London said, 'We are extremely proud that London's incredible range of hotels has impacted so much on business travellers.'

The Condé Nast Reader's Travel Awards 2010 is one of the most prestigious awards in the travel sector, voted for by Condé Nast Traveller readers.
