Resort to offer complimentary wedding service

The Reef Villa and Spa in Sri Lanka is offering guests a complimentary civil wedding service when they book a stay of seven nights or more.

The wedding service includes the services of a registrar as well as documentation and necessary translations. The bride will also receive a bouquet of seasonal flowers, while the groom will get a buttonhole flower.

Guests will also get their own wedding coordinator. And if they don’t have their own witnesses, the resort will provide them as well.

A decorated oil lamp and wedding cocktail will complete the special day, but if the bride and groom wish to make their day even more special, they can choose from optional extras such as a personal firework display, Kandyan dancers and drummers, a flower arch and a Buddhist or Christian blessing.

Other romantic extras include a celebratory dinner, a decorated flower swing, an elephant ride, a photographer, and of course a wedding cake.

The Reef Villa and Spa is a luxurious boutique hotel set in three acres of exotic tropical gardens with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. It offers just seven exclusive palatial suites for intimacy and privacy and acilities include a private sandy beachfront, tennis courts, swimming pool, gourmet kitchens and the Reefresh Spa.

Rooms at the Reef Villa and Spa cost US$440 per night and the wedding offer excludes the dates from December 15 2012 to January 31 2013.
