Royal treatment with a Caribbean International wedding

Wednesday, 6 April 2011 9:37 AM

To celebrate the upcoming Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Royal Caribbean International is offering an exclusive wedding package for couples looking to tie the knot at sea.

The Royal Wedding package offers engaged couples or those looking to renew their vows the chance to have a regal and royal of their own in a symbolic ceremony onboard one of the cruise line’s 22 ships.

The Royal Wedding package offers the happy couple a range of wedding essentials including a tiara for the bride, a 12-rose hand-tied bouquet, strawberries, champagne, toasting flutes, dinner at the captain’s table. As well as the services of a wedding planner, photographer, boutonnière and tiered wedding cake.

The package is available to purchase through December 2011, and to commemorate the Royal couple’s big day, April 29, prices start from $2,904 (£1,777).

Royal Caribbean’s fleet of cruise ships around the world will broadcast the Royal Wedding live so guests can join the ceremony’s excitement, says Betsy O’Rouke, senior vice president of marketing with Royal Caribbean International.

“Inspired by the pending royal nuptials, the Royal Wedding package and honeymoon registry offers guests the Royal treatment on their special day and honeymoon cruise,” she said.
