Mediterranean festival food recreated by your own personal chef

Thursday, 7 June 2012 3:50 PM

A specialist villa company - Coastline, is offering guests staying in Mallorca or Corsica, the chance to enjoy traditional fiesta fare recreated by their own personal chef from the comfort of their own villa.

Each chef will help guests plan their own seasonal menu and visits to food festivals in the areas can also be organised.

If staying in Mallorca holidaymakers can visit the festival of Sant Pere in late June, in honor of the patron saint of fishermen; the Spring Festival in Manacor and the marine festival in the small town of Porto Cristo on July 9 2012.

Visitors to Corsica can enjoy over 40 country fairs which run across the island year round and celebrate the local produce and way of life.

Chefs can be booked for an individual evening or an entire week, and can tailor their sumptuous menus to cater everything, from traditional Mallorcan or Corsican specialities to fresh fish, with a range of wines to compliment the menu.

The chef's service is tailored to personal requirements with catering available for up to 10 guests. A fixed fee is payable for the chef and then simply reimburse the cost of the produce. Prices start from £70 for two guests in May, June and September 2012 and up to £160 for eight guests in July and August 2012.
