Thursday, 16 September 2010 12:07 PM

Discounted autumn breaks to some of Europe’s most popular destinations have been unveiled by Pierre & Vacances.

Offering travellers up to 35 per cent savings, the self-catering accommodation specialist is giving UK holidaymakers the chance to enjoy some autumn foliage in the continental countryside.

With discounted rates on properties across France and Spain, travellers can choose been relaxing on the Picardy coast, horseback riding through the Ardeche or re-stocking the winter wine cellar in Loire Valley.

The autumnal specials are available for properties on the Atlantic coast of France, along the Cote D’Azur and Mediterranean, in the French Pyrenees, Brittany and Normandy. Costa del Sol properties in Spain can also be enjoyed for less.

With a wide range of properties to choose from, holidaymakers can either kick-back by choosing to stay in a luxurious and stylishly decorated property.

Or they can choose an active holiday by opting for a traditional cottage in the Pyrenees, where the surrounding countryside invites hiking and trekking.
